“Smoke Thru a Keyhole” was a reference once used to define the prowess and agility of Joe Washington as a Running back in his hey days as an Oklahoma Sooner and throughout his NFL career. That is pretty much what we set out to do when the idea of making a cigar to commemorate Joe’s career came across.

Handcrafted and supervised by Victor Cruz, personal cigar roller to the late Avo Uvezian while he promoted his self-titled cigar thru out different events around the world; Mr. Cruz now works very exclusive projects for select customers and this Gordo is no exception to the high quality and meticulous blending that he has been notable for thru out his career.

A dark-chocolate Dominican Habano wrapper leaf embraces a 60x6 bountiful core of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. This cigar is a mid to full body profile with hints of leather, spice and heavy earthy notes. Best paired with spirits like Tequila, Rum, Whiskey, Cognac or Brandy or just a good ol’ cup of Joe.
